THE STEELE SHUTTER

I am a self taught photographer with decades of inexperience under my belt. I graduated from Texas Tech University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Art degree, then continued my post-graduate education, qualifying as a Harley Davidson mechanic in 2001. I worked in the motorcycle industry for the next eight years in Orange County, California and Las Vegas Nevada, then switched careers and became an emergency medical technician, driving an ambulance for a year in California before returning to school to pursue a degree in nursing. I began nursing school in Saipan in the Northern Marianas Islands and then continued my studies in Colorado Springs until the Universe intervened and I found myself in South Texas.

All work and no play can drive a person quite mad, and all great madness needs an easel. Photography has always been a hobby of mine, a passion, sometimes a therapy;  capturing the sincerity of a moment, it’s like a secret shared between friends.

Now after some prodding I am sharing with you what I see. I hope you enjoy.
